Every 7,500 Miles

The first service appointment since you got behind the wheel of your Mazda CX-9 for the first time will be around 7,500 miles. Your Mazda will have its tires rotated and its oil changed at this service appointment. Our technicians will also inspect the Mazda’s disc brakes.

These services are routine and will take place every 7,500 miles for the rest of your Mazda’s life.

Every 15,000 Miles

The next service appointment will take place at 15,000 miles. Your Mazda will receive all the services from your last appointment, as well as a few more, including fuel line inspections, front and rear suspension inspections, and driveshaft inspections.

The bolts and nuts of the chassis will be tightened, and the cabin air filter will be replaced. All of these services will take place at every 15,000-mile service interval.

Every 22,500 Miles

When you reach the 22,500-mile service interval, you’ve likely been on the road with your Mazda CX-9 for over a year and a half. That’s a lot of road!

This service appointment will include an oil change, tire rotation, air filter replacement, and drive belt inspection. The air filter replacements and drive belt inspection will take place every 22,500 miles.

Every 37,500 Miles

At this service appointment, your Mazda’s routine service list will grow to include an inspection of the exhaust system and heat shields to ensure your engine doesn’t overheat.

Every 40,000 Miles

At the 40,000-mile service appointment, your Mazda CX-9 will receive new spark plugs. Spark plugs ensure your engine turns that spark in your engine into power to propel your car.

The spark plugs will be replaced every 40,000 miles from now on.

Every 120,000 Miles

After quite a bit of time on the road, almost 10 years and 120,000 miles, your Mazda CX-9 will receive an engine coolant replacement. All other relevant services that your Mazda has had previously will happen at this appointment as well.

Every 60,000 Miles After 120,000 Miles

Every 60,000 miles after your 120,000-mile service appointment, your Mazda will require engine coolant replacement.

At this appointment, your Mazda will also receive a tire rotation, oil change, and disc brake inspection. You and your Mazda CX-9 have been through a lot. Continuing these service appointments can help your vehicle remain on the road for a long time.
