Mazda CX-50: Performance by Trim
The foundation of your vehicle is in the performance you get. The Mazda CX-50 can provide you with different levels of performance, based on the trim you choose.
All Mazda CX-50 trim levels come with i-Activ AWD®. This provides you with all-wheel-drive capability to add traction to your vehicle on slippery and uneven roads.
The first engine option is the standard Skyactiv®-G 2.5 engine. It comes on trim levels, such as the 2.5 S, S Select, S Preferred, S Preferred Plus, S Premium, and S Premium Plus. This engine provides up to 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. It also gives you a 2,000-pound towing capacity, when properly equipped.
The turbocharged engine option appears on the S Turbo, S Turbo Meridian Edition, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus trim levels. This SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 engine with Twin-scroll Turbo can produce 256 horsepower, 320 lb-ft of torque, and up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity.
Mazda CX-50: Interior Features by Trim
Once you get inside the vehicle, you want to know what features you have available for comfort and entertainment. Each trim level takes your experience to the next level.
Each trim level features Push Button Start, remote keyless entry system, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
The 2.5 S Select trim adds in dual-zone automatic climate control and half leatherette-trimmed seats. The 2.5 S Preferred trim provides heated front seats. The 2.5 S Preferred Plus adds in a power sliding-glass panoramic moonroof. The 2.5 S Premium adds leather-trimmed seats. The 2.5 S Premium Plus gives you more for the front seating, adding in ventilation to the heated front seats.
On the Turbo trim options, you also get some interior upgrades. The 2.5 S Turbo offers a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 2.5 S Turbo Meridian Edition gives you terra cotta, leather-trimmed seating. The 2.5 Turbo Premium enhances your listening experience with the Bose® 12-speaker Premium Audio System. The 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus provides the Mazda Navigation System.
