Set to grace downtown Norfolk in October, this event is the perfect way to gather for a great time sipping wine and having fun.

The 28th Annual Town Point Virginia Wine Festival is a two-day event taking place on October 17 and 18 from 11 am to 6 pm, flooding downtown Norfolk with wine aficionados looking to dive into a showcase of Virginia’s best wines, live entertainment, and food.
Red, White, and Whatever You Like
The Virginia Wine Festival will let the wine flow with more than 30 participating wineries serving up over 200 varieties. That’s right: You can let your inner wino flourish and enjoy your favorite reds, whites, and everything in between. Plus, with so many options to sample, you can even walk away with a bottle of your new favorite wine from any winery participating in this event.
Wine, Dine, and Enjoy
At this event, you’ll be able to pair your wine selection with a plethora of entertaining attractions, including live musical acts during both days of the festival.
And what’s a little wine without some food to pair it with! Here you’ll not only be able to taste fine wines, but you’ll also be able to pair them with a selection of gourmet fare for the perfect meal.
Learn While You Sip
This event may be all about fun, but patrons will also have a chance to learn with the Fall Wine Somm-inar. This program will dive into the world of fine wine with classes on choosing the best bottles for the holidays, how to swirl and sip like a pro, and distinguishing the unique tastes between varying wines with blind tastings.
These classes are free for the first 45 people, and the schedule is listed below to help you get to the front of the line faster.

Tickets and Other Important Details
Tickets for the Town Point Virginia Wine Festival are required to enjoy everything the Virginia Wine Festival has to offer. For general admission, tickets cost $25 on Saturday and $20 on Sunday. Other options are also available, including Tasting Tickets for $35 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday, which includes a free souvenir glass.
In addition, you can reserve tables for groups. Tickets for Reserved 4-Star Seating for four guests are available for Sunday only for $170 and include Tasting Tickets. Reserved tables for eight guests will range between $390 and $465 on Saturday and $315 on Sunday. Finally, a Boater’s Package will be available to help you experience the festival more scenically with park side docking. It will cost $200 or more depending on the size of your boat.
